Constant ChorusPlacemaking, Wayfinding
2025

A unified wayfinding and identity system that draws from unique architectural patterns to connect varying student disciplines and create an expressive sense of place.

Echoing the building’s  r  h  y  t  h  m , our system transforms DAAP’s visual language into a unified journey of form and function.
This system translates the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning’s architectural characteristics into linear forms that create movement and visual interest across signage and environmental graphics.

Throughout our experiential graphic design studio, my partner, Anna Glanzman, and I developed a system that integrates naturally with the existing space, supporting clearer navigation while reinforcing a strong sense of place.

Using insights discovered through a visual atlas of the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning structure, we developed a modular kit of parts to visually represent the distinct identities of each school and major within DAAP.

While each discipline maintains its own voice, the system unifies them into a collective chorus of creativity.
